Almond Butter Sticks
1 1/2 CUP Sugar
4 1/2 TSP Almond Extract
1 CUP Butter -  softened
8 oz Cream Cheese - softened
2 1/4 CUP Flour
2 TSP Baking Powder
1/8 TSP Salt
Combine sugar and almond, set aside
Combine butter, cream cheese, flour, baking powder, and salt,
Blend at low speed until dough forms. Knead on floured board until smooth.
Divide in half; roll out each to 16x9, sprinkle each with almond sugar mix.
Fold the 16 side by 1/3 ends over center to make 3 layers, turn 90 degrees and
roll out to 16x9. repeat 3 times. Roll out to 16x9 and cut into 3x 1 1/2 inch strips.
Bake on parchment paper cookie sheet at 400F for 8-10 minutes.
Remove from cookie sheet immediately and cool.
1/3 CUP Butter
2 CUP Confectioners Sugar
1 1/2 CUP Almond Extract
3 TBL Hot Water

Melt butter in a sauce pan, Blend in sugar and almond.

Stir in water, a spoon a t a time, until mix is thick as a glaze, may take less or more water.
