Hermit Bars
 
2 CUP Brown Sugar
3 Eggs - beaten
2/3 CUP Shortening
1/2 TSP Baking Soda in 1/4 CUP Water
3 CUP Flour
1 TSP Salt
1/2 TSP Cloves
1 TSP Cinnamon
1/2 CUP Nuts
1 CUP Raisins - boil until tender, dry, and roll in flour

Mix and spread thin layer in two 9x13 pans.

Bake at 350F for 25 minutes.
