Peanut Blossoms
1 3/4 Cup Flour
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar, firm packed
1 TSP Soda
1/2 Cup Shortening
1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
1 Egg
2 TBL Milk
1 TSP Vanilla
48 Hershey Kisses, frozen
Combine all ingredients except kisses.  Blend well at low speed.
Shape into teaspoon size balls, then roll in sugar, and place on parchment paper lined pan.
Bake at 375F for 10 to 12 minutes.  Remove from oven and top with a kiss,
press down firmly so cookie cracks around the edges.
(If not frozen, the kisses will melt, depending on which type, that may be ok,
 but peanut butter or truffles kisses will melt fast)
