| Sift together | 2 | CUP | Flour | |
| 1 1/2 | TSP | Baking Powder | ||
| 1/2 | TSP | Salt | ||
| 3/4 | CUP | Milk - add alternately with above and blend well, a little dry at a time | ||
| in a bowl | 1/2 | CUP | Brown Sugar - Packed | |
| 1/2 | CUP | White Sugar | ||
| 1/2 | CUP | Shortening - gradually added and well blended | ||
| 2 | eggs | |||
| 1 | TSP | Vanilla and beat until fluffy | ||

Mix all above and add |

| 1 | CUP | Cherry Halves - well drained and floured | ||
| 1 | CUP | Walnuts | ||
| 6 | OZ | Chocolate Chips | ||
|
Turn into a roll pan that is shortening and flour coated. Bake at 325F for 30 minutes. Cool and cut into squares. |
