Treasure Chest Bars
 
Sift together 2 CUP Flour
1 1/2 TSP Baking Powder
1/2 TSP Salt
3/4 CUP Milk - add alternately with above and blend well, a little dry at a time
in a bowl 1/2 CUP Brown Sugar - Packed
1/2 CUP White Sugar
1/2 CUP Shortening  - gradually added and well blended
2 eggs
1 TSP Vanilla and beat until fluffy

Mix all above and add

1 CUP Cherry Halves - well drained and floured
1 CUP Walnuts
6 OZ Chocolate Chips

Turn into a roll pan that is shortening and flour coated.

Bake at 325F for 30 minutes.  Cool and cut into squares.
