Garlic Pickles

4 PT Vinegar
1/2 PT Water
3 1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Salt

Bring to a boil, cool slightly and pour over jars 2/3 filled with the following-

  -each jar contains the the following and is premixed

 

Cucumber chunks
1 garlic clove - cut in three
1 TSP Celery Seed

Hot pack - turn jars daily for five days
