Apple Glazed Ham
 
10 Pound* Baking Ham
1 quart apple juice
1/4 Cup warm water
1/4 Cup brown sugar
3 Tbl Mustard Flour
1/4 Cup Apple Jelly
 
Use a roasting rack in a roaster, add juice to fill to just
below the rack. Place the ham, open side down. 
Cover the top half of the ham with foil,
Bake the ham for 20 minutes per pound at 350-375
Then mix the rest of the items, pour over ham, and bake
another 30-45 minutes.  Remove and place on cutting board
for 15 minutes, slice.
 
* any size, just adjust cooking times. Internal temp 140 degree is cooked
 
 
For a Pellet Stove- Set grill to medium  and preheat.
Place ham, face down on grill, wrap top half in foil and
cook for 2 1/2 hours for 10 pound. 
Remove ham and and set in bowl, remove foil.
Mix the sugar, mustard, jelly, and enough water to make a paste.
Brush heavily on ham and return to the grill without foil for 1/2 hour.
Let set for 15 minutes after removing from heat before slicing.
 
 
The apple jelly will remove some salt and add sweet, the mustard adds flavor and
offsets the sugars.  For less sweet, try pineapple slices and the canned juice instead of
the apple jelly and juice.  For pellet stoves, use the apple, pineapple does not work.
