Sloppy Joes
 
2 Lb Hamburg*
1 Onion, chopped (or 1 TBL Toasted Minced Onion)
1/2 CUP Diced Green Pepper ( or 3/4 tbl green pepper granules)
28 OZ Tomato Sauce (or 2 1/2 cups Ketchup, faster and sweeter )
2 TBL Brown Sugar
1/2 TSP Minced Garlic
1/2 TSP Salt
1/4 TSP Pepper
2 TBL Worchester Sauce
2 TBL Vinegar, white cider pref
1/4 TSP Mustard Flour
1/8 TSP Tabasco - optional

 

Brown the Hamburg, then add rest and simmer for an hour.

 

* Use from 1 to 2  lbs, depends on the fat level and how sloppy
   the Joes are to be.
