Panko Meatballs

1 1/2 lbs Hamburg
1 Egg
1 tsp dry Garlic minced
1 cup Panko Bread Crumbs or regular bread crumbs
3 TBL milk
1/4 cup Grated Cheese
1 TBL toasted minced onions or 1/3 cup fresh onions
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Mix everything except the hamburg in a large bowl,

When combined, lightly fold in hamburg, make sure not
to squeeze or over mix ( makes it tough ).
Put on gloves, helps stop hand heat from damaging the hamburger.
Make into round ball shape.

*You can then coat lightly with panko if baking for better color.
Bake for 20 minutes at 400F on rack or parchment paper

You can pan fry to get crisp edges and stay together better.
Just dropping in sauce will work, takes longer to cook and may
fall apart.  I soak the breadcrumbs in milk to soften and eliminate
the sauce from going into the meatballs which makes them break

Hamburg in the 75-80 % holds together, 90-95% is too lean and crumbles.
