Bread Pudding
3 Cups Bread crust
1 1/2 Cups Hot Milk
2 Eggs, beaten
1 Cup Sugar
1 TBL Butter/Oleo
1/2 TSP Vanilla

Bread has to be dry, leave out over night - uncovered.
The liquid should cover bread, but not float.

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Beat together eggs, butter, vanilla, and milk.
Add sugar and mix until sugar is dissoved.
Arrange bread cubes tightly in a nine-inch baking dish,
keeping the crust facing up around the edges in
scattered within the dish. Pour liquid over the bread.
bake for 55 to 70 minutes,
or until crust is golden brown all over the top.


Nutmeg Sauce
1 Cup Sugar
1 TBL Flour
1/8 TSP Salt
2 Cups Boiling Water
1 TBL Butter/Oleo
1 TSP Nutmeg
Add Sugar, Flour, Salt, and Water to a saucepan and cook for 5 minutes.
Allow to cool slightly, then add Nutmeg. serve with Bread Pudding.
