| 1/3 | CUP | Small Pearl Tapioca | ||
| 1/4 | TSP | Salt | ||
| 3 | CUP | Milk | ||
| 2 | Eggs - beaten | |||
| 1/4 | CUP | Sugar | ||
| 1/2 | TSP | Vanilla | ||

Soak tapioca pearls in water for one hour and drain. Combine tapioca, salt, and milk in a 2 quart pan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, then lower heat and simmer 5 minutes, do not cover. Add sugar to beaten eggs, then slowly pour tapioca into sugar and egg, stirring constantly. Return to lowest heat and cook 3 minutes, add vanilla, and chill.
