Maine New Hire Package If you ran out of forms, here is the required paperwork for new employees- 1. DHS and I require this within a few days of a new hire, make sure it is mailed or faxed ASAP. new hire/MeNewHireReport2007.pdf 2. Immigration requires you keep on file, make a copy of license and Social Security card. 3. Federal Income Tax Withholding, should be in before first paycheck, email the status/exemption number. 4. Maine Income Tax Withholding, store with federal, if numbers are not the same as federal, email me.
